I'm proud to present my graduation project at Haute Ecole Albert Jacquard.
We had to create a short cgi film. Our team consisted of three persons working on it: Sara Baudier, Fabien Fovel and myself Simon Jacob. Our film was made with Unreal Engin 4 for the environment and the rendering. The houses, mask, lanterns and spirits were made in other softwares like 3ds max, zbrush and substance painter.
This is a story about spirits in a little village in Japan during the feodal era. A kind of japanese legend. We chose japanese culture because it has been inspiring us for long.
I worked on houses ( modeling, UV and textures), lantern maker's mask textures and the simulation of the spirits and also the concept art which was one of my favorite parts.
